Which fees does Etsy charge?
Four items: a fixed listing fee per listing, a percentage transaction fee on the sale amount, a payment processing fee (percentage + fixed amount) and an Offsite Ads fee when the sale came from Etsy's external advertising. The tool shows each item separately.
Why does the payment processing fee differ by country?
Etsy Payments fees depend on the country of the shop; both the percentage and the fixed amount vary. The tool ships with separate defaults for the US (USD) and Türkiye (TRY); the exact values are on Etsy's current fee page.
Is the Offsite Ads fee mandatory?
It applies when the sale came through Etsy's ads on external platforms. The rate depends on annual sales volume and the programme is mandatory above a certain volume. Tick the box in the tool only when calculating ad-attributed sales.
How is net profit calculated?
Net profit = Sale price − (Listing + Transaction + Payment processing + Offsite Ads) − Shipping cost − Product cost. Profit margin is net profit divided by sale price. Enter zero shipping if the buyer pays it.
Are the rates in this tool current?
